I'm so excited about the new forums! Just to put it out there, if anyone is at all interested in Steampunk, we've got a fairly active group called the Manticore Society that organizes happy hours, concerts and outings on Facebook. Even if you're new to Steampunk, please join us. People are always happy to give fashion advice if you want to build an outfit. :-)

I like Steampunk, and I like the outfits... but I don't really have the time or inclination to make my own outfit. Is it ok to just hang out with cool people? :)

Of course you can come un-Steampunked, just know that you may feel inspired to dress up just a little bit after hanging around with us. ;-) We're gonna be at the Edison this Thursday from 6-9! Stop on by.
